If you have a lot of guests staying at your house, then this Overnight Baked French Toast Casserole is the perfect breakfast. It's easy to make the night before and it's baked in one dish!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Loaf French Bread cut into 16 slices
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of salt

Praline Topping

  • 1 1/2 sticks butter softened
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup diced pecans
  • 2 tbsp light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Generously butter the bottom and sides of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Slice french bread into 16, one-inch slices. Arrange slices in the prepared dish.
  • Whisk together eggs, half-and-half, milk granulated sugar, pure vanilla extract, cinnamon and salt until incorporated.
  • Pour mixture over the slices, covering all the slices evenly and entirely.
  • Cover and refrigerate over night.
  • The next day, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Make the praline topping by beating together butter, dark brown sugar, diced pecans, light corn syrup and cinnamon.
  • Spread topping evenly over the french toast slices.
  • Bake for 40 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
  • Add your favorite maple syrup if desired.
  • Serve and enjoy!
