Green Jalapeño Sauce
Turn up the heat with this Green Jalapeño Sauce! This creamy, spicy sauce is great on everything! Add it too tacos, salsas, or any main.

- 8-12 fresh jalapeños peppers 8-large or 12-small
- 1/2 vidalia onion medium size
- 4-5 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1-2 tsp salt
- 1 oz lime juice
- water to cover the vegetables
Wash jalapeños. Slice the stems off and add them to a sauce pan.
Dice the onion and add to the pan.
Cover with water and bring to a boil. Once boiling reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until they are easily pierced with a fork. They will turn a dull green.
Strain and add the peppers and onions to a blender or food processor.
Add garlic, vegetable oil, salt and lime juice and blend until smooth. Roughly 30-45 seconds.
Add to your favorite foods!

To store, put in a mason jar or an air tight container and refrigerate for 1-2 weeks.
