Ingredients

  • 8 oz can of Crescent Rolls
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp dry Italian seasoning packet
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 frozen meatballs
  • 1/2-1 cup marinara sauce plus more to serve on the side

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Microwave meatballs according to package directions. (about 3-5 minutes). Set aside.
  • Spray a muffin pan with baking spray with flour.
  • Unroll crescent rolls. Separate the rolls into two sections. Use your hands to close any of the perforations. Cut the dough into 8 equal squares.
  • Press each square into the prepared muffin cup. Smooth out the dough and do your best to mold dough up the sides. You can also use crescent rounds instead of the rolls. Just use one round per muffin cup.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add dry Italian seasoning and half the mozzarella cheese.
  • Spoon in 1 tablespoon of mixture into the bottom of each muffin cup.
  • Place meatball on top of the mixture. Top with 1-2 tbsp of marinara sauce. Add additional mozzarella cheese to the top.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven. Let cool in the pan for about 3 minutes.
  • Serve with an additional side of marinara sauce if desired.
  • Enjoy!
