Easy Cheese Olive Broilers

These easy cheese olive broilers are a perfect appetizer. Crunchy, cheesy, gooey goodness that takes only 15 minutes to make. Make ahead and freeze, take out and pop under the broiler.

Equipment

  • Baking sheet

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package English muffins
  • 2 cups extra sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup mayonaise
  • 1/3 cup black olives chopped
  • 1 1/2 tbsp onion chopped or grated
  • 1 tsp chili powder

Instructions
 

  • Split English muffins in half. Toast both sides until golden brown.
  • Grate extra sharp cheddar cheese. Chop or grate a small onion and cut black olives into small pieces.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, chopped onions, chopped olives and chili powder.
  • Spread onto toasted English muffins. Cut muffins into quarters and place onto a large baking sheet.
  • Place under broiler until bubbly. Remove from oven, let cool, and enjoy!
  • You can also freeze for later use. Before broiling, place them in a freezer bag for up to 3 months. When ready to use, take out of the freezer, place under the broiler until bubbly, serve and enjoy!
