Easy Tuna Tartare with Wonton Bowls

These easy tuna tartare in wonton bowls appetizer is a crowd pleaser that is easy to pull off and sure to impress your guests.

  • Mini Muffin Pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Sushi grade tuna, cut into 1/4 inch cubes
  • 3 Green onions, sliced thin
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Fresh ginger peeled and grated about a 1 inch piece
  • 1/2 Cucumber, diced
  • 1 Lime juiced and zested
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp Fresh ground pepper
  • 1 tsp Sriracha optional
  • 1 pack Wonton wrappers

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Brush both sides of the wonton wraps with olive oil and place in mini muffin pan.
  • Bake for 6-8 minutes until tops of wraps are brown and crisp.
  • Sprinkle wontons with salt and set on cooling rack.
  • Cut the tuna into 1/4 inch cubes, set aside.
  • Dice cucumber and set aside.
  • Combine tuna, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, pepper and salt in bowl. Mix together.
  • Just before serving add, cucumbers, lime juice and zest and combine.
  • Spoon tuna into each wonton bowl and serve.
