Easy Candied Walnuts
These Easy Candied Walnuts take just a few minutes to make and are delicious! Great salad topper or snack!

- 3 tbsp dark brown sugar packed
- 3 tsp water
- 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp kosher salt
- 1 cup walnuts
In a small bowl, combine dark brown sugar, water, vanilla and salt.
Over medium heat, add the walnuts to the frying pan and toast for 2-3 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent burning. You'll know when they are done because you will smell a nutty aroma.
Add the sugar mixture to the pan. Stir until all the walnuts are coated, about 15 seconds.
Remove from heat and spread walnuts on parchment paper to cool.
Once cooled, if needed break nuts apart. Place in an airtight container.
Eat as a snack or add to your salad and enjoy!
