Grilled Sesame Tuna with Soy Glaze

Grilled tuna steak (rare) with a wonderful soy glaze

- 24 oz Tuna (Sushi grade)
- 1/3 cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Sesame Seeds
- Sea Salt (Kosher salt can be substituted)
- Black Pepper
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Heat the grill to high heat or for direct grilling method
In a small sauce pan combine soy sauce and sugar and heat of medium low heat
Once sauce begins to simmer turn to low and stir occasionally
Season both sides of the tuna with salt, pepper and olive oil
Sprinkle sesame seeds on tuna to cover
Place tuna on grill for 1 minute
Turn tuna and grill for 1 more minute
Remove tuna from grill
Slice tuna into thin strips against the grain
Remove soy glaze from heat and place in small bowls or drizzle over tuna and serve
