This tasty Banana Bundt Cake with Nutella Frosting is so versatile that it can be enjoyed for breakfast, a snack or dessert! Banana and Nutella, the perfect combination!
Overripe bananas are perfect for this Banana Bundt Cake with Nutella Frosting. Bundt cakes are easy to make and known for their pretty look. A bundt pan has fluted sides, that give your cake a distinct look. In addition, a bundt pan has a center tube that leaves hole in the center of the cake. Drizzles, frostings, nuts, powdered sugar and even fruit topping can be added to the top of the bundt cake. There are no limits!
The addition of sour cream, makes this a melt-in-your-mouth, super moist cake. Sour cream gives this cake a tangy flavor and helps the cake stay moist, rich and tender. If you have never used sour cream in cakes, then now is the time to try it. Trust me, it’s worth it!
Rounding out this deliciously, tender, rich and moist cake is a creamy, buttery, Nutella frosting. Nutella was first introduced in 1964 by the Italian company, Ferrero. Primarily made from sugar, palm oil, hazelnuts, skim milk and cocoa, it is most well-known as a hazelnut spread. Add Nutella to fruits, crackers, cookies, etc. There are endless possibilities. In addition, it can be used in baking goods and frostings, as I have used in this recipe. Nutella and bananas are a match made in heaven! This frosting surely doesn’t disappoint and compliments this cake perfectly!
