No Bake Chocolate Dipped S’mores Bites-Ingredients
- 12 graham crackers
- marshmallow creme (small container, Fluff)
- 1 container Dolci Frutta (melting wafers)
- 1 package of nonpareils or sprinkles (optional)
No Bake Chocolate Dipped S’mores Bites-Instructions
- Flip the graham crackers onto the plain side. Using both hands break the crackers on perforated lines, creating four equal sized pieces.
- Use a knife and spread the marshmallow creme over one of the graham cracker pieces. Top with the other half of the graham cracker, creating a sandwich.
- Melt the chocolate wafers according to package instructions. If you find that the chocolate is too thick, add about a teaspoon of vegetable shortening (Crisco) and stir well, until melted.
- Dip the filled graham crackers halfway into the dipping chocolate allowing the excess to drip off. Place onto the parchment lined baking sheet.
- Top with festive nonpareils or sprinkles if so desired.
- Let stand until chocolate is set. To speed up the process, place the baking sheet into the refrigerator for about 10-15 mintues.
- Serve and enjoy!
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. To freeze, place in an airtight container, placing wax paper between the layers for up to 3 months.
Tips on how to successfully break the graham crackers
Until I learned this easy trick, breaking graham crackers was a messy disaster! I can’t count the number of crackers that I had to set aside because I broke them. I’ve tried all sorts of ways and finally this one is fool proof.
First, flip the graham cracker onto the plain side.
Second, using two hands, break the graham cracker on the perforations. Break in half (the long way).
Then break in half again, creating 4 perfect pieces!
Give it a try!
