Broccoli Salad with Bacon and Raisins

Ingredients
  

  • 6-8 cups broccoli
  • 10 slices bacon cooked, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 purple onion diced
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 cup mayonaise
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp vinegar

Instructions
 

  • Place bacon in a non-stick pan and cook over medium-high heat. Turn bacon occasionally and cook until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Move bacon to drain on paper towels. Once cool, chop bacon. Set aside.
  • Dice onion.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add broccoli, bacon, sunflower seeds, onion and raisins.
  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar until smooth.
  • Pour over broccoli mixture and toss to coat.
  • Refrigerate for 5-6 hours.
  • Serve and enjoy!
