Broccoli Salad with Bacon and Raisins

- 6-8 cups broccoli
- 10 slices bacon cooked, chopped
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 purple onion diced
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup mayonaise
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp vinegar
Place bacon in a non-stick pan and cook over medium-high heat. Turn bacon occasionally and cook until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Move bacon to drain on paper towels. Once cool, chop bacon. Set aside.
Dice onion.
In a large mixing bowl, add broccoli, bacon, sunflower seeds, onion and raisins.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar until smooth.
Pour over broccoli mixture and toss to coat.
Refrigerate for 5-6 hours.
