For the Carne Asada

  • 1 lb flat iron steak Cooked, seasoned, Carne Asada

Cheese Nachos

  • 12 oz tortilla chips
  • 8 oz extra-sharp cheddar cheese Cracker Barrel, grated
  • 8 oz Monterey Jack cheese Cracker Barrel, grated

Add Your Desired Toppings

    Instructions
     

    • Season and cook the carne asada. Set aside. Find our recipe here.
    • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
    • Spread the tortilla chips in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Slightly overlapping the chips.
    • Bake for about 5 minutes to ensure extra crunchy chips.
    • Sprinkle cheeses over the top making sure to coat every chip.
    • Put chips back into the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes or until all the cheese is melted and bubbly.
    • If desired sprinkle/add toppings directly on the nachos or place in bowls on the side.
    • Serve immediately.
