Servings 24 cupcakes or 2 layer 9 inch cake
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream 1 pint
Beat cream cheese until there are no lumps, scraping down the sides of the bowl. Add powdered sugar and vanilla and beat.
Slowly add in heavy whipping cream and continue to beat until light, fluffy and stiff peaks form.
Add to a piping bag (if piping on cupcakes or cake), or use a flat knife for spreading.
This frosting must be refrigerated.
