- Kosher Salt
- Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
- Olive Oil
- 1.5 lbs. Flat Iron Steak
Start grill on high (500 degrees)
Season the meat with salt and pepper (both sides)
Drizzle a little olive oil
Place steak on grill and drop to low or 350-400 degrees
Grill for 5 minutes the turn over, keeping the lid shut as much as possible
Grill another 5 minutes on second side (for medium rare)
Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes (if you can)
Slice and serve
