Simple Triple Layer Bars

These Simple Triple Layer Bars have three delicious layers. Graham crackers, coconut and a peanut butter-chocolate topping. A melt in your mouth bar that is a winning combo!

Equipment

  • 9x13 inch pan
  • Small sauce pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 2/3 cups sweetened coconut flakes
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a small sauce pan, melt butter over low heat.
  • Mix the butter and graham cracker crumbs together in a small mixing bowl. Spread and press into the pan.
  • Sprinkle coconut over the top of the graham cracker crumbs.
  • Pour condensed milk over the coconut.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • In a small sauce pan, melt chocolate chips, peanut butter and vanilla over low heat.
  • Spread evenly over hot coconut layer.
  • Cool for 30 minutes then chill in the refrigerator.
  • Cut into bars, serve and enjoy!
  • To store: Place in an airtight container for up to 5 days. To freeze: Place in an airtight container for up to three months. Place wax paper between layers.
