Fireball Margarita
Mmmm! Cinco de Mayo just got hotter! This Fireball Margarita combines all the flavors of a margarita with a spicy, cinnamon kick!
Equipment
- Cocktail Shaker
- Cocktail strainer
- Margarita glass
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz tequila
- 1 oz cinnamon whiskey Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey
- .5 oz orange liqueur Cointreau or Tipple Sec
- 1 oz lime juice fresh squeezed
- 1.5 oz simple syrup
- lime wedge and/or slice for the rim/garnish
- coarse sugar or salt for the rim
- crushed ice (optional-to the prepared glass for a very cold drink)
Instructions
- Rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass. Dip the rim into coarse sugar or salt to coat.
- Fill a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Add tequila, cinnamon whiskey, orange liqueur, lime juice and simple sugar.
- Shake vigorously until cold.
- Strain into the prepared glass.
- Garnish with a lime wedge or slice.
