Pineapple Habanero Hot Sauce
This Pineapple Habanero Hot Sauce combines the tropical flavor of pineapple and the spicy flavor of habaneros creating a sweet, fiery sauce that's great on everything!

- 6 habanero peppers chopped
- 2 cups pineapple fresh, chopped
- handful of cilantro washed
- 2 tbsp lime juice freshly squeezed
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Wash and chop habaneros and cilantro.
Cut off the top and bottom of the pineapple, then stand it upright and slice away the skin. Cut the pineapple into quarters, remove the tough core, and chop the flesh into smaller pieces.
Juice a fresh lime.
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour contents into a sauce pan and simmer on low for 15 minutes.
Let cool and strain to remove any chunks.
Pour into sterilized bottles or jars.
Refrigerate for up to 3 months.
Pour over mains, add to condiments or cocktails for added flavor and heat.
