Ingredients
  

  • 8 cups fresh nectarines about 4 lbs., sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Crisp Topping

  • 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar packed
  • 1 1/2 cups quick 1-minute oats Quaker Oats
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup butter 1 1/2 sticks, cut into tbsp

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Wash nectarines thoroughly and then slice them into thin wedges.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add nectarines, granulated sugar, flour, fresh squeezed lemon juice and cinnamon. Mix together until evenly coated.
  • Spread mixture evenly into the baking dish.

Crisp Topping

  • In a microwave safe bowl, mix together dark brown sugar, oats, flour, cinnamon and salt.
  • Add butter to the top and place the bowl in the microwave on high for 2 minutes. Use a large spoon to mix together until combined.
  • Pour topping over the nectarine mixture and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until the topping turns golden brown and the nectarines are tender and bubbly.
  • Let cool for about 15 minutes before serving.
  • Scoop crisp into bowls and if desired add a large scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream to the top.
  • Serve and enjoy!
