This blueberry storm martini combines fresh blueberries, vodka, peach schnapps, cranberry juice and a few slices of banana to add that unexpected twist. Brave the storm and give it a try!
Here’s another fresh fruit martini or as I love to call it a “smootini.” Part smoothie, part martini, thus the name. Get it? Because I use a blender like I do with a smoothie and add fresh fruit. Martini because there’s lots of alcohol. As you get to know me better, my “creative names” have been around since I was a kid. I had a stuffed bee that I used to sleep with and I called it, “B.” A stuffed doll that my mom made me, that today would be similar to a cloud pillow, that I called “Dollie.” Get my drift? That’s as creative as it gets, my friends.
Anyway, today Jim and I were on a mission! It’s Friday and time to end the week with a well deserved cocktail. Blender in hand, I began another round of mixology. Unfortunately, this time I did not get it right on my first try like I did with my Banana Coconut Martini. Not on the second try either. Nope, not on the third try. You guess it, not on the fourth. What? Yes, where did I leave off? I’ve lost track? However, I am feeling great and I have braved the storm! Finally! I have come up with something that is tasty, fresh, unique and delicious.
Grab that blender and let’s get started! This will be quick and painless and after a few, downright awesome!
