When I was a kid, my mom always baked with Nestlé Choco Bake. These pre-melted packets were a baker’s dream. Easy to use, and delicious in recipes. Unfortunately, they discontinued this product and now I use baking chocolate instead, in many of my recipes. Nestlé why??? Please bring it back! I actually called Nestlé and they were very nice in their explanation as to why they discontinued it, but I am still holding out hope that they will bring this item back! If you ever used it, you’ll know why. Ok, sorry back to the cupcakes.
So yes, I love using baking chocolate in my recipes. I find it so easy to use and it gives the cupcakes a rich texture. So if you haven’t used baking chocolate, here’s your chance.
