Watch out! The Easter Bunny Martini is packed with some serious punch! However, it’s so delicious, creamy and has the perfect combination of the following: Malibu, Bailey’s, Cream de Cocoa, and Advocaat topped off with a huge plume of whipped cream. Did I hear you say, “yes please!” Because if you haven’t, you don’t know what you are missing.
Liqueurs used in the Easter Bunny Martini:
Malibu: the original coconut rum made from sweet Caribbean sugarcane and pure water. Malibu is found in many tropical drinks and makes up the majority of the alcohol in this martini.
Bailey’s Irish Cream: an Irish Cream liqueur featuring cream, cocoa and Irish whiskey. It’s smooth and creamy with hints of chocolate and vanilla.
Advocaat: a traditional Dutch liqueur. It has a rich, creamy, almost custard-like consistency and made from egg yolks, sugar, brandy and vanilla. Advocaat is yellow in color and is basically a very boozy egg nog. Yum!
Cream de Cocoa: a flavored liqueur made with chocolate cocoa beans and vanilla. There are two types: white and dark brown. The white (used in this recipe) is very sweet and colorless whereas the dark brown looks like chocolate and has a sweet caramel flavor.
Easter Bunny Martini-Ingredients
- 2.5 oz Malibu
- 1.5 oz Bailey’s Irish Cream
- 1/2 oz Advocaat
- 1/2 oz Cream de Cocoa, white
- whipped cream
- marshmallow topping to rim the glass, optional
- Easter sprinkles/nonpareils, optional
Instructions
- Rim a martini glass with marshmallow topping and coat with Easter sprinkles/nonpareils.
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add Malibu, Bailey’s Irish Cream, Advocaat, Cream de Cocoa. Shake vigorously until the shaker is very cold.
- Strain into prepared martini glass.
- Add whipped cream to the top. Add sprinkles on the whipped cream if desired.
- Serve and enjoy!
