These Easy Blood Dripped Glasses are always a huge hit! A cool and creepy addition to your favorite Halloween cocktails!
“It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” You guessed it! It’s Halloween, one of my favorite holidays! My mom thinks I am crazy, but I love everything about Halloween. First of all, it’s a fun, stress free holiday! Second, no needless gift buying! Lastly, it comes at a time of year when we are looking to celebrate something fun! Plus, who doesn’t love to dress up?
Halloween is all about blood, gore and more! These Easy Blood Dripped Glasses hit the mark! They are similar to my Easy Homemade Candy Apples that I posted last week. Same concept with a little twist! There are only 4 ingredients! Light Karo syrup, sugar, water and red food coloring. Put all the ingredients in a small saucepan, bring to the hard cracked stage, dip the glasses and you’re done!
Are you ready for a “bloody” good time? Grab your ingredients! Let’s get started…
Easy Blood Dripped Glasses-Ingredients

Equipment: Candy thermometer.
Instructions
- In a small saucepan add sugar, Karo syrup and water. Stir together.
- Over medium heat, bring mixture to a boil.
- Stir in red food coloring.
- Continue to boil, stirring occasionally, until a candy thermometer reaches 300 degrees (hard crack stage). Roughly 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Stir a few times.
- Dip the top of the glass into the mixture. Use any type of glass. Rotate the glass until the rim is covered. Be careful not to burn yourself!
