These Easy Churro Apple Tartlets are a ridiculously delicious! Filled with caramelized apples, placed in a mini-churro bowl. Add your favorite caramel, chocolate, or Nutella sauce and drizzle over the top. Feeling it? Add some vanilla ice cream too!
A few weeks ago, our pool club organized The Burgundian: Coffee and Waffles food truck to come by. As usual, my kids begged us to get them something! Anytime something good comes their way, it’s too hard for them to resist! Especially when it comes to food.
At first, Jim and I were hesitant. Earlier that day he had already gone out and gotten our dinner for the evening. But as we were leaving we caved. The fried chicken and waffles were calling our names!
We gave into the temptation and not only ordered the fried chicken and waffles but the Banana Churro Supreme and the Belgium Dream! We devoured everything, wishing we each got our own! Within minutes, all five of us agreed that it was worth the mid-day treat right before dinner. Since tasting that Banana Churro Supreme Waffle, I have become obsessed with churros!
Apple season is right around the corner and we have been busy planning many different apple recipes to share with you. So today, I tested out a very easy recipe inspired by both The Burgundian: Coffee and Waffles food truck and Makinze Gore. I think it satisfies my churro obsession! Hope these Easy Churro Apple Tartlets will satisfy yours as well!
