It’s stress free, fun and it’s an excuse for me to go crazy and dress up in my scariest, craziest Halloween costume! Come to my house and you’ll get tricks and treats! Plus, you are sure to get a good scare!
Add these Frankenstein Rice Krispie Treats to your Halloween treat table and the kids will go crazy! They are not only super cute but they are totally delicious! What’s better than a big, marshmallow treat? A frosted one that’s what!
Super easy, super cute and super tasty! Grab your butter, marshmallows and Rice Krispies and let’s get started…
Frankenstein Rice Krispie Treats-Ingredients
Marshmallows, Rice Krispies, butter, pure vanilla extract.
Instructions
Butter a 9×13 inch pan. In a stove top pan, melt the butter over low heat.
Over medium heat, add marshmallows and stir continuously until marshmallows are melted.
Pour in pure vanilla extract and mix.
Remove from heat. Stir in Rice Krispies and mix until well coated.
Press into pan. Let stand for about 30 minutes before cutting.
Cut into rectangles.
Frankenstein-Frosting
In a mixing bowl, beat softened butter, powdered sugar, milk and pure vanilla extract until smooth.
Add green food coloring and mix. Add in more food coloring until you get the desired color.
Frankenstein’s Face-Ingredients
Black decorating icing with writing tip, green food coloring, candy eyeballs, M&Ms, marshmallows.
Frost the tops of the Rice Krispie Treats with green frosting. Add candy eyeballs for the eyes and an M&M for the nose. Using your decorating icing, pipe on the hair, mouth and scar. Press on marshmallows for Frankenstein’s neck bolts.

Rice Krispie Treats
- 5 tbsp butter melted
- 1 1/2 bags marshmallows
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Frankenstein Frosting
- 2 tbsp butter softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
- green food coloring
Frankenstein Face
- 1 package candy eyeballs
- marshmallows
- M&Ms
- 1 Wilton black decorating icing with writing tip
Instructions
