This One Dish Chicken Bake is so delicious that even your picky eaters will enjoy it! Just grab your favorite casserole dish and bake everything together!
We pretty much eat chicken once a week. My go-to chicken dish is my Quick Baked Chicken. However, if you’re eating it once a week it can get a little old. Sometimes you need to shake it up a little and experiment with something new. This One Dish Chicken Bake is similar to a deconstructed chicken pot pie without the pie crust. What I love about this dish is that it only takes about 10 minutes to put together! Mix all the ingredients together and place in a casserole dish. That’s it and in under an hour you’ll be enjoying a delicious, hot, all in one chicken dish!
One Dish Chicken Bake-Ingredients
Milk, frozen mixed vegetables, frozen hash brown potatoes, cream of chicken soup, crispy fried onions, American cheese, thin chicken breasts.
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Whisk together cream of chicken soup and one cup of milk in a small mixing bowl.
In a 9×13 inch baking dish, add frozen hash browns and crispy fried onions (1 cup).
Add the frozen mixed vegetables and pour half the cream of chicken soup mixture over the top.
Next, place the cheese slices, and then the chicken breasts over the hash browns, fried onions and mixed vegetables mixture.
Pour the remaining cream of chicken mixture over the top.
Bake uncovered for 35 minutes. Remove chicken to a dish, stir all the ingredients together. Once combined, return the chicken to the baking dish. Bake for an additional 20 minutes or until a thermometer reads 165 degrees. (I like too cook my chicken a little longer until about 170-175 degrees.) During the last 3-5 minutes, top the casserole with the remaining crispy fried onions and bake until golden brown.
Serve and enjoy!
