This Vampire Blood Cocktail is sure to be a hit for all your Halloween festivities! This deep, red, blood cocktail is made with vodka, grenadine and ginger ale. Leave out the booze and the kids will love it too!
Halloween is just around corner and I am in full swing here, getting ready for my favorite holiday! I love all things Halloween, from decorating the house, to experimenting with food and drinks. In addition to my Bloody White Russian and Poisoned Apple Cider Martini, this Vampire Blood Cocktail is the perfect drink to get you in the mood for Halloween! It’s basically a boozy Shirley Temple. For adults, just add vodka, ginger ale and grenadine. For kids, just leave out the vodka! It looks and tastes great and everyone will love it!
Vampire Blood Cocktail-Ingredients
Just three simple ingredients! Ginger ale, vodka, grenadine.
Decorate your glass first!
In order to complete this cocktail and get into the Halloween mood, decorate your glass. My favorite way to decorate the glass/glasses is to dip them into a candy apple coating. Every time I have made these Blood Dripped Glasses my guest go crazy! They are super cool, fun and gorey. Perfect for this bloody cocktail! For a full set of instructions click here on my Easy Blood Dripped Glasses. Be creative when decorating your glass. If you don’t want to use this technique you can always just use red gel icing and drizzle it down the glass.
Add some LED ice cubes!
I love these LED ice cubes. Add them to your cocktail glass and light it up! They are so cool and your guests will love them too!
