Frozen Coconut Margarita

The Frozen Coconut Margarita is made with coconut tequila, fresh lime juice and agave nectar blended with ice to create a refreshing cocktail!

  • Margarita glass

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp sweetened coconut flakes grated fine
  • 1 tbsp Kosher salt
  • 3 oz coconut tequila
  • 2 oz Cointreau
  • 3 oz lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1.5 oz agave nectar
  • 3 cups ice cubes
  • 2 lime wheels for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a small food processor, grate the coconut flakes until fine. Mix together coconut and salt and add to a plate.
  • Rub the rim of each margarita glass with a lime wedge, then dip into the coconut-salt mixture. Set aside.
  • Add coconut tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, agave nectar and ice to a blender.
  • Blend until thoroughly combined and creamy.
  • Pour into prepared glasses.
  • Serve immediately.
