This is the Best Apple Crisp you will ever taste! Loaded with apples and topped off with butter, oats, brown sugar and cinnamon. This apple crisp won't last long!
Wash, peel, core and slice apples evenly (about ¼-inch thick).
In a large mixing bowl, add apples, granulated sugar, flour, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Mix together and let stand for 15 minutes.
Pour the apple filling into the baking dish.
Crisp Topping
In a microwavable bowl, add the quick cook oats, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Mix together. Add butter, cubed.
Microwave for about 2 minutes or until the butter is mostly melted. Mix together.
Spread crisp topping over the apple filling.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown, and the apples are tender and bubbling.
Remove and let cool for about 15 mintues.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
