I am always on the lookout for easy appetizers to serve and this appetizer is as easy as it gets. Just three simple ingredients; phyllo pastry shells, whole-berry cranberry sauce and brie. A perfect combination of salty, tart and sweet all placed in a neat, little, bite-sized shell. This appetizer is so simple to make! Just cut the brie into little pieces, place in the phyllo shell, and top with about a 1/2 teaspoon of cranberry sauce. Pop them in the oven and within 7-8 minutes your guests will be enjoying this tasty, little treat! It’s perfect for the holidays, especially when you are in need of a last minute appetizer!
Cranberry Brie Bites-Ingredients
- 7-8 oz Brie (rind removed)
- 2 packages phyllo shells (baked, Athens)
- 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce (Ocean Spray)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Arrange phyllo shells on a baking sheet.
- Remove the rind from the brie. Cut brie into 30 small pieces. Place one brie piece into each phyllo shell.
- Top with 1/2 teaspoon of whole berry cranberry sauce.
- Bake for about 7-8 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Serve immediately.
