Deep Dish Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie-Ingredients
- Butter
- Granulated sugar
- Dark brown sugar
- Egg
- Milk
- Pure vanilla extract
- Flour
- Baking soda
- Salt
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Kosher salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray a 10-inch cast iron skillet with baking spray with flour. Set aside.
- Using a stand mixer with a paddle attachment or a hand mixer, beat the butter, granulated sugar and dark brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg, pure vanilla extract and milk and beat until combined.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt.
- Add dry ingredients to the mixing bowl and beat until combined.
- Stir in 1 cup of the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Spread mixture into prepared skillet.
- Top with remaining 1/4 cup of chocolate chips. Sprinkle on Kosher salt if desired.
- Bake for 28-32 minutes or until edges are golden brown and cookie is mostly set when jiggled.
- Remove from oven and let cool.
- Serve warm with ice cream and toppings!
