It’s easy to whip up and in less than an hour, start to finish, you’ll be devouring it for dessert. And dinner is never complete without a good dessert! This cookie oozes chocolate, stays soft in the center and has the perfect, golden crisp around the edges.   • Butter
  • Granulated sugar
  • Dark brown sugar
  • Egg
  • Milk
  • Pure vanilla extract
  • Flour
  • Baking soda
  • Salt
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Kosher salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Spray a 10-inch cast iron skillet with baking spray with flour. Set aside.
  • Using a stand mixer with a paddle attachment or a hand mixer, beat the butter, granulated sugar and dark brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add egg, pure vanilla extract and milk and beat until combined.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. 
  • Add dry ingredients to the mixing bowl and beat until combined.
  • Stir in 1 cup of the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • Spread mixture into prepared skillet.
  • Top with remaining 1/4 cup of chocolate chips. Sprinkle on Kosher salt if desired.

  • Bake for 28-32 minutes or until edges are golden brown and cookie is mostly set when jiggled.
