These Festive Halloween M&M Cookies are chewy, gooey, chocolatey and filled with M&Ms! They make a great addition to your Halloween treat table!
Since I have been a kid I have loved Halloween! Maybe because it’s a fun and stress free holiday! I enjoy dressing up and scaring all the kids who come to the door to trick-or-treat, decorating the house in full Halloween mode and making fun and festive Halloween treats!
These Festive Halloween M&M Cookies are a true crowd pleaser! Who doesn’t love a chewy, chocolatey cookie, loaded with M&Ms? You can find Halloween M&Ms pretty much anywhere. Target, Stop and Shop, and BJs are among a few places to have plenty of these treats. I always purchase a huge container of these colorful Halloween M&Ms at BJs, because I enjoy the orange, purple and green ones for my cookies. However, pick the colors you like and make a batch of these cookies today! Your kids will thank you!
Festive Halloween M&M Cookies-Ingredients
Brown sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, flour, butter, baking soda, salt, pure vanilla extract, eggs, vegetable shortening, sugar, Halloween M&Ms.
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a stand mixer with a paddle attachment, cream the butter and vegetable shortening.
Add brown sugar, sugar and vanilla and beat until light and creamy.
Drop in eggs, one at a time and beat after each addition.
In a large mixing bowl, combine, flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking soda and salt.
Add dry ingredients to the mixing bowl and beat until combined.
Using a cookie scoop, place a scoop of cookie into your hands and roll into a ball. Place on the cookie sheet. Add M&Ms to the top of each cookie scoop.
Bake for 9-11 minutes. Take out of the oven and let sit on the cookie sheet for about 1-2 minutes.
Remove to a wire rack and let cool completely. Note-some of the M&Ms may crack while cooling.
Serve and enjoy!
