Christmas is not complete without baking a batch of sugar cookies! These Festive Sugar Cookie Blossoms are rolled in sugar and topped off with a sugar cookie kiss! Santa will love them!
The other day while my kids and I were in the candy isle at Target, I spotted Hershey’s Sugar Cookie Kisses. I have never seen these before and I knew I had to try them! In addition to milk and peppermint, I grabbed two packages of these sugar cookie kisses and off we went. As usual once we got into the car, my daughter Sammie asked to open the package. This time, I couldn’t wait to try these new and interesting kisses either. First of all, they are so cute! White chocolate kisses with little balls of red and green sugar cookie crunches buried inside. An explosion of sugar cookie all in one bite. We agreed that these kisses are good!
When we got home I pulled out my favorite sugar cookie recipe and off I went to bake up a batch of these Festive Sugar Cookie Blossoms. A few minutes later the dough was made and rolled into balls. Some coated with red and some coated with green sugar. Off into the oven and about 10 minutes later, I pulled out these cute red and green sugar cookie balls. After about 5 minutes, I pushed these new kisses on the top. Once cooled, I called to my taste testers and they eagerly grabbed a cookie to try. It’s always interesting to see what they think and they are not shy about voicing their honest opinion! Luckily, these cookies scored a two thumbs up. Buttery, soft, moist cookies with the perfect note of sugar cookie kiss on top. Festive and delicious!
