My husband and I enjoy inviting our friends over for dinner parties. Last year when we hosted a Christmas dinner party, I quickly whipped up these No Bake Chocolate Peppermint Cookies as part of my dessert table. They were a huge hit! My guests not only enjoyed them, but they asked me for the recipe!

No Bake Chocolate Peppermint Cookies

My friends know I enjoy making intricate desserts, but sometimes the most simple desserts are often the ones that make the biggest impression. These cookies are not only super easy to make but are also a great and festive addition to your Christmas cookie tray!

In addition, my kids are always wanting to help out with the Christmas cookie baking. These cookies are a great family activity that will keep your kids busy and engaged no matter what age they are. So grab your ingredients and let’s get started…

No Bake Chocolate Peppermint Cookies-Ingredients

White chocolate melting wafers, peppermint extract, chocolate wafers, candy canes.

Ingredients

Instructions

Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Place candy canes in a plastic bag. Using a rolling pin, gently tap the candy canes to crush.

Place in a bowl and set aside.

Heat white chocolate wafers in a microwave safe bowl according to package directions. Add one teaspoon of peppermint extract and stir well.

Dip chocolate wafers into melted white chocolate, covering about 3/4 of the wafer.

Set on parchment lined baking sheet. Add crushed peppermint to the top of the cookie.

Let set until firm.

To freeze: store in an airtight container for up to 3 months. Place wax paper between layers.

  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 package Chocolate wafers
  • 3 Candy canes crushed
