Christmas is almost here and that means bring out the eggnog to start of your festivities! I already shared with you The Best Homemade Eggnog that is creamy, smooth, and utterly delicious! However, if you don’t want to go through all the bother of whipping up the egg whites, yolks, etc. then this Fireball Eggnog is for you. No need to make homemade eggnog for this recipe. To save time, just use store bought eggnog and add a little booze to spice it up!
While you can definitely drink eggnog without adding booze, more often than not it is spiked with brandy, rum, or whiskey (my personal favorite). However, try switching it up and add Fireball Whiskey to your eggnog and while you’re at it, a little amaretto too. The combination of cinnamon from the Fireball and a warm, nutty flavor from the amaretto go really well together. Just pour all your ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake well, and then strain into a prepared glass. What’s easier than that?
If you want to take your Fireball Eggnog to the next level, then rim the glass with cinnamon-sugar, sprinkle a little cinnamon on top of the eggnog and add a cinnamon stick to the glass. With just one sip, you’ll enjoy a delicious balance of creamy, rich eggnog and a spicy, warm blend of nutty goodness.
Fireball Eggnog-Ingredients
- 6 oz eggnog
- 2 oz Fireball Whiskey
- 1 oz Amaretto
- simple syrup (for the rim)
- cinnamon-sugar mix (for the rim)
- cinnamon (for the top)
- cinnamon stick (for garnish)
Instructions
- Dip the rim of the glass in simple syrup and then into a cinnamon-sugar mix.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add eggnog, Fireball Whiskey and Amaretto. Shake until cold.
- Strain into the prepared glass.
- Sprinkle a little cinnamon on the top of the eggnog.
- Add a cinnamon stick to the glass for garnish.
