White Chocolate Peppermint Martini-Ingredients
Peppermint schnapps, vodka, white chocolate liqueur, marshmallow topping, candy canes.

How to make a White Chocolate Peppermint Martini
First up, rim the glass with crushed candy canes. Place one candy cane in a plastic bag. I grabbed an ice cream scoop and gently tapped on the candy canes to crush them up. Speaking of ice cream, in addition, I dipped the rim of the glass in Smucker’s Marshmallow Topping (my favorite ice cream topping), then in the crushed candy canes. This adds a pretty and festive addition to the rim of the glass. A great way to start this martini off!
Next, fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the white chocolate liqueur, vodka, peppermint schnapps and shake well. Strain and pour it into your prepared glass. Garnish with a candy cane.
Cheers! Have another!

The Great Debate: Vodka vs. Vanilla Vodka
Many chocolate martinis use vanilla vodka. However, I found that it made the martini taste too strong and too much like medicine! Using regular vodka eliminated that really strong taste, kept it simple and pure. In addition, I’m sure more people have regular vodka on hand, just one less alcohol to buy when making specialty cocktails.
No matter your preference, use the vodka you like best! There’s no wrong way to mix up this martini. It’s a delicious and festive cocktail that is great for any holiday gathering this time of year.
