The countdown is on and Christmas Day is approaching fast. If you are like me then you are probably wishing you had more time! Usually by mid-December, I am well on my way to having my Christmas shopping and cookie baking done. However, Christmas is really sneaking up on me this year. I’m pretty much behind on everything! Thankfully these Rolo Pretzel Reindeer are an easy and adorable treat that you can make in about 20 minutes. They are the perfect combination of salty, sweet, chewy, and crunchy. So no worries, I’ve got you covered with these simple treats. In addition, check out some of the best and easiest cookies at the bottom of this post. Good luck! Happy shopping, get baking and Merry Christmas!
Only 5 simple ingredients!
- Pretzels: I used the salted Rold Gold Tiny Twists (pretzels) for this recipe. They add the perfect amount of salt and make the perfect base for these treats.
- Rolos: I love chocolate and caramel and Rolos have both! Rolos melt easily and make a great face for the reindeer.
- Red candies: Make a great nose for your reindeer. So I guess I should have called them Rudolph Rolo Pretzels? You can also use any small, red candies, like M&ms, red hots or candy pearls.
- Candy eyeballs: I like the mini candy eyeballs. They make the perfect edible eyes for your reindeer. Find them in most baking sections at the grocery store. You can also find them at Target, Michaels and on Amazon.
