We are always looking for a great breakfast that can be eaten on the go. The beauty of these Bacon, Egg and Cheese Crescent Rolls are that you can make them ahead of time. You can freeze them and just warm them up on the way out to school or that early morning game.

I use bacon in this recipe, but you could easily substitute sausage or just go with egg and cheese. Also, feel free to try different types of cheeses, have fun with it and use what you like! They are simple enough to make that even your kids can help prepare them.

Bacon, Egg and Cheese Crescent Rolls-Ingredients

One package of crescent rolls, pepper, cheddar cheese, fried bacon, salt and eggs.

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Cut 6 strips of bacon into pieces, then fry in a pan until crispy. Place a piece of paper towel on a plate. Remove bacon, set on the paper towel, and cool.

Over medium-low heat, warm a non-stick pan with one tablespoon of butter or spray with non-stick cooking spray. Whisk eggs, add salt and pepper. Cook the eggs completely through, stirring frequently.

Next, lay out the crescent rolls. Place one tablespoon of egg on the crescent roll, and top with bacon and cheese.

Roll up the crescent rolls and place on an ungreased baking sheet.

Place baking sheet in the oven and cook for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.

Either serve immediately or freeze them for later use. To freeze, wrap them individually in plastic wrap, then place in a large freezer bag for up to 3 months.

  • 1 tube Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 4 Eggs
  • 5-6 slices Bacon
  • 3/4 cup Cheddar cheese
  • pinch salt
  • pinch pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Slice and fry bacon until crisp. Set aside on a paper towel.
  • Whisk together eggs, salt and pepper.
  • Over medium-low heat, warm about one tablespoon of butter or spay pan with non-stick baking spray. Pour eggs into the pan and cook throughly. Stir frequently.
  • Place crescent roll triangles on the baking sheet.
  • Spoon on egg, top with bacon and cheese. Roll up and repeat for all 8 rolls.
  • Place in oven and cook for 12-14 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve and enjoy!
