This Easy Cream Cheese Banana Bread will melt in your mouth! The combination of cream cheese and bananas make this bread creamy, rich and full of flavor.
My kids are at it again! They are in the “mom we need more bananas” mode. I swear there are three monkeys in my house! Actually four, because my husband has been eating one a day too! So it happened again! As soon as I buy a gigunda bunch, (because who wants to go to the grocery store every day?), they stop eating them! I can’t begin to tell you how many times this happens. They get obsessed with a particular food, I finally give in and buy a mother load and as soon as I’m stocked nope, they decide they have had enough and move on to their next food obsession! Seriously???
Starting at me for several days, there was a bunch of over ripe, bananas that were either going in the garbage or were going in a banana bread. I don’t like throwing food out and I didn’t want to spend hours making some fancy banana recipe, so I whipped up this Easy Cream Cheese Banana Bread in just 10 minutes. This bread is different from my Banana Cake Bars, Banana Coconut Bread with Pecans and Banana Muffins because in this recipe I mix the cream cheese right into the batter. The cream cheese makes this bread rich, creamy and gives it that delicious flavor!
So next time your have a bunch of ripe bananas waiting for you, try this Easy Cream Cheese Banana Bread.
